Honest leadership.
Real accountability.
Better outcomes for our neighbors.
Neighbors for a Better McHenry County PAC is working to elect responsible, community-focused leaders to the McHenry County Board — people who will tell the truth about our budget, protect the services our families depend on, and invest in the future of our communities.
Where your support makes the difference
Every county board seat matters. Based on careful analysis of precinct-level voting data across McHenry County, we have identified a targeted set of races where strategic investment can flip the County Board toward responsible, accountable leadership. These aren't long shots — they are winnable races where the right candidate, backed by the right resources, can prevail.
Our analysis shows that in race after race, Democratic-leaning voters have been showing up for presidential candidates but not for county board candidates. That gap is our opportunity. In some races, a relatively small number of additional votes is all that stands between the status quo and a better County Board. In others, competitive conditions make every dollar of support count.
We are not spreading resources thin. We are targeting where it matters — and we intend to win.

Neighbors holding neighbors accountable
McHenry County is a community worth fighting for. For too long, the County Board has relied on tax freezes as a political tool while quietly drawing down reserves to fund basic operations. That approach has created real fiscal challenges for our county — challenges that deserve honest leadership and responsible solutions. We are organized to provide both.
"McHenry County voters deserve a County Board that governs transparently and makes decisions based on the long-term interests of our community. Local elections don't always get the attention they deserve, but they determine some of the most consequential decisions affecting our daily lives — from public health services to housing to how our tax dollars are managed. That's what this PAC is about."— Neighbors for a Better McHenry County PAC
